You can dress this pizza casserole up into a flavor extravaganza with all your favorite toppings: Pepperoni, Bacon, Sausage, Banana Peppers, Black Olives, Mushrooms, Pineapple.
I mean, really, the sky is the limit, my friends.
After losing ourselves in last week’s Pear and Prosciutto pizza, this week I decided to keep it classic. Black Olives, Pepperoni and Mushrooms. // Hello delicious.
TIP: If you need a dairy-free diet, cheese can be omitted completely from the top of the dish and seriously, it is not missed one bit. Or, the dairy-free cheese products are always an option as well.
Pack it full of extra veggies and void of any meat and we have ourselves a healthy vegan casserole.
Swap with either corn pasta noodles or normal noodles if you don’t need to be gluten-free.
I told you, this Pasta Pizza Casserole is a versatility wizard.
TIP: If using gluten-free noodles, don’t forget to drain them under running water to rid of extra starch.
That is my trick to keep the noodles from sticking together, learned when I went through my pasta salad summer obsession.
